Sunday Social had a well attended ride out to Style Acre cafe at Blewberry. One of our favourite cafes. A great turn out for a slightly damp February morning

The cafe ride will be on Thursday this week, 0920 for 0930 depart from Abingdon Market Place. It's 27km (17ish miles) of tarmac or good surfaces, with a stop at the newly relocated Vaults and Gardens Cafe.

It's been a busy December and so posts about forthcoming rides have been a bit lacking, However we managed a seasonal Christmas lights ride to Bessesleigh, a longer ride to Wallingford on December 28th and a NewYear's Eve cafe ride to the Oxfam Superstore where they managed refreshments for 18 of us.

Brian and Elizabeth are leading a 20 mile ride with a cafe stop at Chilton Garden centre.

This Wednesday is a cafe ride starting at AMP at the usual time of 9.20 arrival for a 9.30 am depart. It will finish at Jules' house in Radley for Xmas Scones. About 17 miles to the Jules' cafe then make your own way back to your home.

20 mile ride for refreshments and chatter at Root One Garden Centre Cafe in Brightwell

It's a 13 mile trip, to Apple cafe at Kennington and back. A chance for those who prefer a shorter distance. Led by Clive leaving AMP at 9.30 am

This Wednesday’s ride is a tour of some of the Blue Plaques in Iffley and Cowley, with a coffee stop at Flo’s. We’ll head out past Thrupp Lake and then up Route 5, and return via Sandford Lock. It’s all pretty good surfaces apart from the horrible potholes on Sandford Lane! As ever, meet in AMP 0920 for 0930 start.

There will be two rides on Sunday. As it's second Sunday of the month mine is a Shortie. Depending on numbers, it will be a Tumbling Bay/Missing Bean combo cafe stop John Mears will lead a longie.

Sunday’s ride will be 54km (34 miles) to Wantage, out via Fyfield and Charney Bassett and back via Harwell Campus and Didcot. The return is along the Icknield Greenway, so expect some easy gravel - should be OK for all but the skinniest road tyres. Meet at AMP, 0850 for 0900 departure

23 miles with a cafe stop at Wolvercote Mill.

Two rides this week Sunday. Mike is leading a 36 mile ride to Waterperry for a cafe stop. Mel will lead a 16 mile Shortie, probably to Didcot Boswells or Berro Lounge. Both 9 am departure from AMP.

About 20 miles heading to Oxford with a choice of cafes including The Olive Branch and Castle Cafe. Leaving AMP at 9.30 am.

Heading out to Chilton Garden Centre for coffee,  via Milton. Back through Upton, Didcot and Culham. 19 miles. Leave AMP at 9am.
